If We All Used Hot Tubs Then The Earth Would Probably Be A Better Place
 | Have you ever thought of using hydrotherapy as an alternative treatment? Probably stress! All of us experience the daily stresses and strains of life whether it's financial, family or work related but just how many people understand how or have the time to release it? A variety of techniques including jogging, yoga,and the gym are popular but my favourite is the hot tub. Admittedly exercise is important for a number of other health reasons but when it relates to stress, nothing in my view, compares to the magical properties of the hot tub. The spa or hot tub has always been used for relaxing and medical research has confirmed that there are indeed health benefits linked to its use. Even though it took many years to achieve this status, there is evidence going back to Roman times that the men and women of the empire were encouraged to bathe for the same reason. The big question is why should using warm water each day improve our health? Well the answer, which seemed to take many years for medical approval, is to do with the slowing down of our heart rate as well as the blood flowing through our veins. Today we live fairly hectic lives and with this lifestyle comes added stress. It's probably that the growing number of physical aches and pains is largely the result of added stress but I'll wager that if everyone spent at least half an hour at the end of each day relaxing in a used hot tub or spa, trips to the doctor would be quickly reduced. Unfortunately our culture seems to be popping pills instead of unwinding and hence the already huge burden on the health service is likely to grow. If only we'd been taught the advantages of hydrotherapy at an early age, maybe things could have been different. Some day our doctors may well prescribe us used hot tubs instead of taking antibiotics, picture that! I can dream but would love to leave you with this thought.
